In the period of January - October 2023, there were less dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun also decreased.

In November the assessments of general business climate indicator in most of presented kinds of activities are at a similar or higher level as compared to the ones presented in October. In the case of seasonally adjusted data, majority of these kinds of activities assess it more favourably than in the previous month. In all areas, except for retail trade, the indicator is below the long-term mean. In most of areas, month-to-month level of both "diagnostic" and "forecasting" components increases or remains unchanged.

According to preliminary data, in October 2023 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 8.2%, as well as in comparison with September 2023 by 0.6%.

In October 2023, sold production of industry was by 1.6% higher than in October 2022, when an increase was recorded by 6.6% as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, whereas in comparison with September 2023, it increased by 4.1%. In the period January-October of 2023, sold production of industry was by 1.5% lower than in the corresponding period of 2022, which saw an increase by 11.6% as compared to the corresponding period of 2021.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in October 2023 decreased compared to September 2023 by 0.5%, as well as compared to the corresponding month of the previous year - by 4.1%.

In October 2023, the average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared with October 2022 was lower by 0.1% and amounted to 6 494.1 thousand full-time equivalent employees. Compared to the previous month, the average paid employment was recorded at a similar level.

Graduation rate refers to the number of graduates at the specified level of education (graduates of any age for gross rate or at the typical graduation age on the specified education level for net rate) divided by the population at the typical graduation age on the specified education level.
