Public Transport (Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport – Gdańsk centre)
Flights to Gdansk arrive at Lech Walesa Airport (http://www.airport.gdansk.pl/passenger), which is only 10 km away from Gdansk city centre.

Bus stops are located near Terminal 2 – you will see them on the left side when you leave the arrival hall at the Terminal 1.

Single journey tickets entitle the bearer to a single journey on one bus or one tram only. These tickets are valid from the time of validation until leaving the vehicle. The tickets should be validated (stamped) immediately on boarding the vehicle (in a ticket validator/in a stamping machine).
Time tickets – depending on their nominal value - entitle to many journeys during 1 hour or 24 hours with as many changes as required. During the first journey the ticket should be validated (stamped) immediately on boarding the vehicle. From this time on, the ticket is valid for the time indicated by its nominal value.
Single fare tickets may be purchased:
1. In ticket vending machines
2. From newsagent’s or kiosks
3. Directly from bus and tram drivers
We recommend buying tickets in a newsagent’s or a vending machine as drivers might not have a change.
ZTM tickets are valid:
1. on all tram services in Gdańsk
2. on bus services in Gdańsk and local districts (e.g. Sopot). Such buses are red and white
3. on services shared with Gdynia, that is services number: 171, 510, G, N1
4. 24 hour tickets are valid on all bus and trolleybus services in Sopot
ZTM tickets are NOT valid:
1. on trains
2. on regional bus services, numbers: 50, 400-499, 800-899
3. on ZKM blue buses and trolleybuses in Gdynia
(except for the services shared with ZTM Gdańsk, numbers: 171, 510, G, N1)
and in MZK Wejherowo buses.
We advise getting a PLN 3 single ticket for a journey from the airport to the city centre . A ticket on a bus marked N (night service) costs PLN 4.
- TAXI
A taxi rank is located in front of the main entrance to the passenger terminal and is serviced by CITY PLUS TAXI.
The cost to the city centre is approximately 30 - 70 PLN (8 EUR-18 EUR) depending whether it is day or night.

- HOW TO GET TO THE VENUE (WHICH IS IN THE CITY CENTRE) BY BUS FROM THE AIRPORT?
- get off at the first bus stop after the GDAŃSK GŁÓWNY Railway Station – the bus stops at BRAMA WYŻYNNA
- take the subway to cross the street
- keep straight through the old town gate, along Długa Street and Długi Targ
- pass through the Green Gate (it is not green, by the way) at the end of Długi Targ
- turn left and walk along the Motława River until the the old wooden Crane which is just next to the Workshop Venue – Maritime Culture Centre (Ośrodek Kultury Morskiej)
Please note that the total distance from Brama Wyżynna bus stop to the venue is about 1 km (pedestrian traffic only).
