The report presents the results of a pilot study on passenger transport by inland waterways in 2022. The innovation of the approach lies in the inclusion of foreign companies conducting passenger transport on Polish inland waters in the statistical survey. It is also innovative to extend the scope of the study by incorporating information that has not been used in Polish statistics before, such as the type of waterway, the embarkation and disembarkation locations, and the type of journey.
