Statistics Poland has received the RSA award

During the online conference on November 12 this year, The President of Statistics Poland, Dominik Rozkrut, Phd received the Regional Leadership Award for Practice and Policy, which on behalf of the Board of the Regional Studies Association Board, was awarded by Ms Olga Mrinska.

Regional Leadership Award for Practice and Policy is a recognition of individuals or organisations in policy and practice who work at the interstices with academia and other forms of research to develop the field and practice of regional studies and science. The previous winners of this award include Prof. Jagan Shah, National Institute of Urban Studies, India; Alexandra Jones, Centre for Cities, UK; Ronald Hall, DG REGIO, EU Commission; Alasdair Rae, Automatic Knowledge Ltd, UK.


The Regional Studies Association (RSA) in a learned society and membership organisation bringing together academics and policymakers working in regional research, development and policy. The RSA publishes five journals, two book series, an online magazine and blog, funds research and awards excellence in the field, delivers knowledge exchange and provides networking opportunities and training  for the global regional studies and wider community.
