The GATES OF STATISTICS project implemented by the Statistics Poland aims to increase the quality, usefulness and availability of statistical information for the largest possible group of recipients. This goal is achieved by using modern technologies and adapting current research methodologies and organization to modern technological possibilities.

The main goal of the project consists of specific goals:

• improving the availability of the resulting statistical information thanks to the creation of new data sharing channels,
• improving the quality of shared data by enabling control of their production process and publishing metadata,
• increasing the openness of data by adapting it to machine-readable formats to facilitate their re-use.
