Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-November 2023

Foreign trade turnover[1] in January - November 2023 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 488.6 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 438.0 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 50.6 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to PLN 79.6 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 0.1%, and imports by 8.4%.

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 351.0 bn, while imports amounted to USD 339.1 bn (an increase in exports of 4.0% and decrease in imports of 4.7%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 11.9 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to USD 18.2 bn.

Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 324.7 bn, while imports amounted to EUR 313.7 bn (an increase in exports of 1.8% and decrease in imports of 6.6%). The positive balance reached EUR 11.0 bn, compared to a negative balance of EUR 17.1 bn in the same period of 2022.
