Foreign trade turnover¹ in January - March 2024 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 376.8 bn, while in imports - PLN 361.7 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 15.1 bn, while in the same period of 2023 year amounted to PLN 15.2 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 12.4%, and imports by 12.8%.

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 94.5 bn, while imports amounted to USD 90.7 bn (a decrease in exports of 3.6% and in imports of 4.1%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 3.8 bn, while in the same period of 2023 amounted to USD 3.5 bn.

Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 86.8 bn, while imports amounted to EUR 83.3 bn (a decrease in exports of 4.9% and in imports of 5.4%). The positive balance reached EUR 3.5 bn, compared to the positive balance of EUR 3.2 bn in the same period of 2023.
