As at 31 March 2023, there were 997,737 residents of Ukraine under temporary protection in Poland.

Statistics Poland presents an estimation of the number of Polish residents temporarily staying abroad for at least 12 months in 2017-2022 (the stock of Polish immigrants in other countries). These data are not migration flow – the total number of departures (Poles leaving their homeland) in particular years, and as such cannot be summed up.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in November 2023 decreased compared to October 2023 by 0.8%, as well as compared to the corresponding month of the previous year - by 4.7%.

In November 2023, the average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared with November 2022 was lower by 0.2% and amounted to 6 494.0 thousand full-time equivalent employees. Compared to the previous month, the average paid employment was recorded at a similar level.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in November 2023 in comparison with the previous month (by 0.4%), while compared to the corresponding period of the last year decreased (by 18.6%)

In December 2023, there was a deterioration in the current consumer moods with a simulta-neous improvement in future consumer moods compared to the previous month. The cur-rent consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in indi-vidual consumption, was -15.2 which was by 0.1 p.p. lower in relation to last month.
