Average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector in June 2022 was PLN 6554,87.

In July 2022, there was a improvement in both current and future consumer sentiment moods compared to the previous month. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was -41.7 a which was by 2.1 p.p. higher in relation to last month.

In June 2022, average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared to June 2021 was higher by 2.2% y/y and amounted to 6496.7 thousand full-time equivalents. In comparison to the previous month average paid employment increased minimally (by 0.1%). Average gross wages and salaries in the enterprise sector in June 2022 compared to June 2021 were higher by 13.0% y/y and amounted to 6554.87 PLN. In regard to May 2022 average gross wages and salaries increased by 2.4%.

Average domestic procurement price of wheat in the first half of 2022 was PLN 153,67 /dt.

Price index of basic agricultural products in the first half of 2022 was 131,4 (the prices increased by 31,4 %).

Price index of consumer goods and services in the 1st half of 2022 as related to the 1st half of 2021 amounted to 111.8 (price increase of 11.8%).

Statistics Poland informs that the price index of durable non-foodstuff goods in the 2nd quarter of 2022 as related to the 1st quarter of 2022 amounted to 103.1 (price increase of 3.1%).

Consumer prices in June 2022, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 15,5% (with an increase of prices of goods - by 16,8% and services – by 11,5%). As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 1,5% (of which goods – by 1,7% and services – by 1,0%).

Foreign trade turnover in January - May 2022 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 625.5 bn, while in imports - PLN 674.8 bn.
