In the 1st half of 2022 financial results of the surveyed non-financial enterprises were higher than those obtained a year earlier. The economic and financial indicators have slightly decreased. Investment outlays were higher by 4.6% than those recorded in the 1st half of 2021 (when there was an increase by 7.9%).

In July 2022 retail sales at constant prices were by 2.0% higher than the year before (against an increase of 3.9% in July 2021). Compared with June 2022 retail sales increased by 1.2%. In the period of January-July] 2022 retail sales y/y were by 8.0% higher (against an increase of 7.3% in 2021).

Acording to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in July 2022 by 4.2% higher than a year before (an increase of 3.2% the year before) and by 6.3% lower compared with June 2022 (a decrease of 4.7% the year before).

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in July 2022 in comparison with the previous month (by 1.0%) as well as while compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (by 51.6%).

In the first seven months of 2022, there were more dwellings completed than the year before. Whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun decreased.

In all of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in August is at a similar or lower level as compared to the previous month. In all of researched areas “diagnostic” components do not change or worsen, whereas in the case of “forecast” ones they differ depending on area of economy.

Price index of construction and assembly production in the second quarter of 2022 as compared to the first quarter of 2022 increased by 4.0 %.

According to preliminary data, in July 2022 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 13.4%, and in comparison with June 2022 - by 0.8%.

In July 2022, sold production of industry was by 7.6% higher than in July 2021, when an increase was recorded by 9.5% as compared to the previous year, whereas in comparison with June 2022, it decreased by 6.5%.
