According to the preliminary results of the National Population and Housing Census 2021, the population of Poland amounted to 38179.8 thousand people. The number of population decreased by 0.9% compared to the results of the Census 2011. There were 15.2 million dwellings in Poland. The number of dwellings increased by 12.6% compared to the Census 2011.
