Rental of tourist accommodation establishments in Poland via booking platforms in the first quarter of 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, 1.1 million online bookings were made in holiday and other short-stay accommodation (NACE 55.2) via online platforms. This was an increase of 17.0% compared to the first quarter of 2024. The number of overnight stays amounted to 7.2 million. Compared to the first quarter of 2024, this was 11.2% more.

The data presented in the study were obtained by agreement with the European Commission from the three largest private booking platforms: Airbnb, Booking and Expedia[1].

The scope of the data presented only relates to accommodation offered through the above-mentioned services and does not represent the entire picture of the market for the rental of accommodation establishments belonging to NACE 55.2 group (Holiday and other short-stay accommodation), as well as the other groups of NACE division 55 (accommodation). It should also be noted that the published data, are currently experimental statistics.
