The MET2023 Statistical Research Methodology Conference is the next in a series of scientific conferences that provide a meeting place for experts in Polish and international official statistics with representatives of: the scientific community, policy makers and management practitioners, as well as business and users of statistical research.

The aim of the conference, the planned speeches and debates, is to seek the most appropriate research approaches and methods in the face of changing conditions of official statistics. The debates held during the conference will be aimed at determining innovative undertakings in the face of the challenges and tasks facing official statistics. Hence the focus on methodological problems of data generation and analysis processes in sample surveys, complete surveys (censuses) and data from non-statistical sources (administrative and new data sources such as Big Data). The MET2023 conference also includes discussions on improvements in communicating and sharing research results with high quality and reliability.



The thematic blocks are a preliminary proposal of sessions with a suggestion for flexible interpretation of the names of fields and methodological problems occurring in them.
