Warsaw Stock Exchange Index (WIG20)


Definition:

Warsaw Stock Exchange Index (WIG20) is a price index of the largest companies quoted on the Stock Exchange. It is calculated on the basis of stock exchange turnover and the prices of shares in the 20 leading companies. The initial (base) value of the index as of 16.04.1994 was 1000 points.
