National park includes protected areas distinguishing for particular natural, scientific, social, cultural and educational values, of the area of at least 1000 ha, where all nature elements and specific landscape features are protected.

National park is created to preserve biodiversity, resources, formations and elements of inanimate nature and landscape features, restore a proper state of resources and elements of nature, reconstruct distorted natural habitats of plants, animals or fungi.
