Maximum weight of goods and of passengers declared permissible by the competent authority of the country of registration of the vehicle. It amounted to difference between maximum permissible weight and unladen vehicle weight (i.e. weight of vehicle excluding its load when stationary and ready for the road declared permissible by the competent authority of the country of registration of the vehicle).
