Consumer goods


Definition:
Goods serving satisfying the needs of consumers in respect of food and other broad-based sustenance needs. Consumer goods include: - food and non-alcoholic beverages; - alcoholic beverages and tobacco; - non-foodstuffs goods. This term has conventional meaning - depending on the function, the given commodity can be consumer or non-consumer.
