Waste Classification


Definition:

Waste Classification is defined by the Regulation of the Ministry of the Environment (O.J. 2001, No 112 item 1206) on waste catalogue which contains division of waste into groups, subgroups and types with respect:

  • their formation source,
  • properties of waste which render it hazardous (Annex III The Act of 14 December 2012 on waste) ,
  • components of waste for which exceeding the limit value of concentration of hazardous substances can cause that waste become hazardous.
