Non-electronic collections


Definition:

Library materials non-readable for computer, or readable on a computer screen, but made with destined for other equipment to play the image or sound.



For non-electronic collections include printed: books and pamphlets, and newspapers and periodicals, printed music, drawings, graphics, photographs, posters, technical drawings, standards, patents, old prints and manuscripts, as well as audio-visual materials such as discs, tapes, CDs, DVDs, digital files, slides, transparencies, videos, etc.
