Foreign trade turnover in January – June this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 452.5 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 457.7 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 5.2 bn, while the same period last year was positive and amounted to PLN 4.3 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2017, exports incteased by 3.3%, and imports by 5.5%

According to the flash estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms seasonally unadjusted was higher by 5.1 % in the 2nd quarter of 2018 year-to-year against 4.0 % in the corresponding period of 2017

Consumer prices in July 2018, compared with the previous month, decrease by 0,2% (of which goods – by 0,4%, with a increased of prices of services – by 0,5%). Compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, consumer prices increased by 2,0% (of which goods – by 2,1% and services – by 1,4%).

Price indexes of consumer goods and services for July 2018 was 99.8 (prices decreased by 0.2 %).
