In October 2022 retail sales at constant prices were by 0.7% higher than the year before (against an increase of 6.9% in October 2021). Compared with September 2022 an increase by 0.3% in retail sales was recorded. In the period of January-October 2022 sales increased y/y by 6.0% (in 2021 a growth of 7.4%).

Acording to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in October 2022 by 3.9% higher than a year before (an increase of 4.1% the year before) and by 4.0% higher compared with September 2022 (an increase of 0.3% the year before).

Financial results of investment funds in the first half of 2022

The value of total assets collected by investment funds at the end of June 2022 amounted to 299.6 billion PLN (decrease by 14.1% compared to the end of June of the previous year). The value of funds' investments decreased to 226.1 billion PLN (by 19.6%).

In January-September of 2022 financial results of the surveyed non-financial enterprises were higher than those obtained a year earlier. The economic and financial indicators decreased. Investment outlays were higher by 5.0% than those recorded in January-September of 2021 (when there was an increase by 8.5%).
