Increase in the value of purchased receivables was 20.0%

Increase in prices of residential premises compared to the 1st quarter of 2022 was 5.8%

Consumer prices according to the flash estimate in June 2023, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 11,5% (price index 111,5), and as related to the previous month remained at the same level (price index 100,0).

The survey covered 82 enterprises conducting leasing activity in 2022. Throughout 2022, the surveyed enterprises concluded 546 thousand new lease agreements for 668 thousand of items (assets) leased. The value of concluded contracts in 2022 amounted to PLN 68.4 billion.

In 2022, the extent of economic poverty in Poland remained at a similar level as in 2021, although the average material situation of households worsened in real terms, due, among other things, to high inflation. As in the previous year, the extreme poverty rate was less than 5%, the relative poverty rate was about 12% and the legal poverty rate was about 7%.

Statistics Poland, thanks to the use of administrative data sources, has broadened the scope and increased the frequency of information on employed persons in the national economy.

As at the last day of January 2023 in the national economy there were 15 043.4 thousand employed persons. The average age was 42.4 years, the median age was 42.0 years. The average age and median age of employed persons in the national economy were similar for men and women.
