Average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector in the fourth quarter of 2021 was PLN 6221,04

According to preliminary data, in December 2021 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 7.6%, and in comparison with November 2021 - by 1.0%.

In December 2021, sold production of industry was by 16.7% higher than in December 2020, when an increase was recorded by 11.1%, whereas in comparison with November 2021, it decreased by 2.9%. In the period January-December of 2021, sold production of industry was by 14.9% higher than in the corresponding period of 2020, which saw a decrease by 1.0%.

According to preliminary data, in December 2021, construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was by 3.1% higher than in the corresponding period of 2020 (an increase of 3.4% the year before) and by 22.9% higher compared to November 2021 (an increase of 34.4% the year before).

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in December 2021 increased compared to November 2021 by 0.8% and compared to that recorded in the corresponding month of the previous year - by 14.2%.

In 2021, there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.

In December 2021, average paid employment in the enterprise sector was higher by 0.5% y/y and amounted to 6361.6 thousand full-time jobs. In comparison to the previous month average paid employment remained at the similar level (100.0%). Average gross wages and salaries in December 2021 were higher by 11.2% y/y and amounted to 6644.39 PLN. In comparison to November 2021 average gross wages and salaries increased by 10.3%.
